Green Building Clearance and Reporting

The City of Dallas requires a Green Building Clearance prior to the Certificate of Occupancy for certain new-construction and first-time renovation projects, to comply with the Dallas Green Construction Code (804.2 DGCC). We provide the independent clearance assessment and report.

Post-construction air quality is often what you cannot see

The documentation side of the practice: independent reports, remediation protocols, post-remediation verification, clearance testing, and green-building clearance. Because we are independent of the remediation contractor, our reports are credible to insurers, attorneys, and building owners deciding whether a space is safe to reoccupy.

  • Green Building Clearance aligned with Dallas DGCC 804.2 for Certificate of Occupancy
  • VOC detection in PPB from paints, adhesives, flooring, and finishes
  • Formaldehyde testing for off-gassing from new furnishings and materials
  • Airborne particulate testing of fine particulate matter
  • HVAC and ventilation verification against green-building standards
  • Clear, defensible clearance reporting for stakeholders
